The Chicago Bears hit back and failed in their last attempt to hit a quarterback in the past offseason with Nick Foles, who was supposed to come in an effective attack from Matt Nagy.
Instead, Foles had 2-5 in his eight games and ended up forcing Bears to replace Mitchell Trubisky, who then led Chicago to a 3-1 final and an unlikely playoff spot.
Now, the Bears are stuck with Bellows, for whom they paid a choice in the fourth round and a guaranteed $ 20 million. Bellows must have a maximum limit of $ 6.67 million, and Chicago would leave with $ 10.3 million – in addition to that guaranteed money – if they released him.
Therefore, trading it really becomes the only option. But good luck trying to find a trading partner for Bellows.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Bears could try to negotiate with Bellows, and the Philadelphia Eagles could be a potential landing point.

The last Bellows pass in Philadelphia was successful, as he stepped off the bench to relieve Carson Wentz’s injury and led the Eagles to their first Super Bowl championship. He is immortalized, alongside Doug Pederson, with a statue at Lincoln Financial Field in honor of the game “Philly Special” that helped lead to that championship.
If Chicago really chooses a defender in this off-season – probably on Day 2 – then it would make sense to have new starter Andy Dalton and a newcomer on the list.
Getting rid of bellows seems inevitable at this point. Now, let’s see if the Bears can get him anything.
