Nikki Haley turns against Donald Trump, revealing that she was “disgusted” with the former president
Nikki Haley, one of the leading candidates for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024, has bluntly turned against former US President Donald Trump, saying she was “disgusted” with the former president. Haley, 49, who was Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, said he “let us down” and “fell so far”. The former South Carolina governor has long been seen as a potential Republican candidate in four years and started a political action committee last month. She unexpectedly resigned in late 2018 but received an enthusiastic public farewell from Mr. Trump in the Oval Office, leading to speculation about a future presidential race.
