The cause of death of teenage actor Archie Lyndhurst has been revealed

The cause of death of actor Archie Lyndhurst was revealed by his family.

The “So Awkward” star, who died at the age of 19 in September, suffered a brain hemorrhage. Her mother, Lucy Lyndhurst, revealed the details that a doctor shared with her and the father of the deceased star in a long Instagram post on Friday.

“He died of an intracerebral hemorrhage caused by lymphoma / acute lymphoblastic leukemia. This is not leukemia as we know it, the word acute in medical terms means fast,” Lucy shared.

The bereaved mother said the doctor “assured us that there was nothing anyone could have done, since Archie showed no signs of illness”. The doctor informed the parents that the actor had “numerous bleeds in the brain”.

“The results left us totally shocked to think that something like this could happen. It is very rare and about 800 people die each year,” continued Lucy.

Archie’s father is Nicholas Lyndhurst, from the British sitcom “Goodnight Sweetheart”.

Archie’s mother continued to honor her son, letting his followers know that he “was and always will be our everything”.

“We are still learning every day the incredible impact he had on the lives of others, the kindness and generosity he showed them. He was an old soul and incredibly advanced for his years in many ways. Like his parents, we couldn’t be more proud of him for everything he achieved in the short time he was granted, and especially for the beautiful human being he was “, continues the mother in her caption.
