The iPhone SE has been showing an insignificant 4.7-inch screen since 2016, so it’s time for Apple to shake things up with its lowest-cost iPhone. And it looks like a radical overhaul is underway.
According to display analyst Ross Young on Twitter (as reported by Forbes), the iPhone SE will retain its 4.7-inch screen in 2022, while probably adding support for 5G below 6GHz. That is the bad news. The good news is that version 2023 will receive a major update.
Last month, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo also said that an iPhone SE 3 should be on the way during the first half of 2022. He says the device must have 5G connectivity and a new chipset. it could be the iPhone 12’s Bionic A14 at that point.
Leak of Apple’s iPhone LCD, now we hear that the next iPhone SE LCD will remain at 4.7 “in 2022. Some rumors that it may have 5G with Sub-6 GHz as well. We also heard about a 6.1” version in 2023 with drilling hole instead of a notch.April 1, 2021
However, the complete redesign of the iPhone SE is unlikely to happen until the following year if Ross Young’s grade is accurate. This 2023 model would grow from 4.7 inches to 6.1 inches, while also offering a hole in the top of the screen. The large frames around the iPhone SE were one of our only major complaints in our review, so this would be a very welcome change.
Based on this leak, the iPhone SE 4 is unlikely to feature Face ID, as the TrueDepth camera technology may be too large to fit a puncture fixation design. This means that you must wait for the Touch ID, integrated with the power button or the screen itself.
The iPhone SE remains one of the best inexpensive phones, despite its aged design. That’s because it comes with a powerful B13ic A13 chip and solid cameras for less than $ 400. But it’s clear that most users prefer a larger screen. It’s a shame that Apple fans apparently have to wait a few years to get the screen size and design they really want.
