The ‘Apple Glass’ prototype allegedly enters the second stage of production

New supply chain reports state that an “Apple Glass” prototype is in phase two of production, following recent rumors of a 2021 launch for the AR device.

Supporting analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s report that “Apple Glass” will be released in 2021, a new statement states that it has gone through a first stage of production.

“Apple is about to enter the second phase of developing its AR glasses prototype,” says Digitimes in a report, “according to industry sources.”

There are no details of what this second phase represents, nor how many phases are expected. However, this suggests that “Apple Glass” is progressing towards a commercial launch.

Previously, Ming-Chi Kuo had hoped that “Apple Glass” would be released in 2022, at the very least. His latest report anticipates this for 2021, which is closer to the allegations of the serial leaker Jon Prosser.

In addition to predicting a launch between March and June 2021, Prosser said earlier that “Apple Glass” will cost $ 499. That cost would be for a version without prescription lenses and possibly for a plastic frame.
