Texan mother addresses man ‘caught looking out of teenage daughter’s window’

The dramatic video shows a Texas mother beating a suspected spy with the body accused of looking out of her teenage daughter’s bedroom window, according to reports.

“The first instinct was to make sure he didn’t go any further,” said mother Phyllis Pena.

“My children are my life and just making sure to protect them,” Pena added.

Lake Jackson’s mother said she came home from a store around 7 am on Jan. 31 and found the suspect looking out of her 15-year-old daughter’s window.

He ran away when his mother called the police.

He started running towards his mother outside his home, and then Pena dove in and grabbed him.

The daughter helped locate the suspect until the police came to make the arrest.

Zane Hawkins, 19, is facing charges of controlled substance possession, evasion and resistance to arrest, Lake Jackson police said.

“It is not very common for us to have someone who really intervenes, puts himself in danger to help someone in prison,” said the sergeant. Roy Welch said.

The fall was filmed on the police panel camera.

“The policeman punched me and said, ‘Hey, I heard the Texans are looking for a new linebacker,'” Pena said.
