Ted Cruz calls Houston’s neighbors ‘holes’ after his wife’s texts in Cancun leaked during the Texas catastrophe

It’s only been a few days since Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) was ashamed to return from his deaf trip to Cancún during a disaster that occurs once in a generation that killed dozens of people in his home state – but he I would really appreciate it if everyone already gave him time. In an appearance on the conservative podcast Ruthless, Cruz was particularly irritated with his Houston neighbors, who he seems to believe leaked text messages from his wife about the planned trip. “Heidi is very upset about this,” said Cruz when asked about the messages, which showed her complaining about her house “freezing” and trying to get others to flee the city with them. Cruz seemed to blame the leaks on his neighbors who supported the Democrats, saying the leak was a sign of “how ridiculously politicized and disagreeable” politics has become in the country and, more specifically, on its street. “Here’s a suggestion, just don’t be stupid,” said the senator. “Treat each other like human beings, have some degree, some respect.” Cruz also said that those who are getting irritated by the trip “need to laugh a little – you know, let go.”
