A 35-year-old teacher in England received a six-year sentence and two months in prison on Friday for having an unlawful sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student.
Convicted Kandice Barber, married and mother of three, will also serve a 16-month sentence for “causing a child under 16 to watch sexual activities by a person in breach of trust” and a 10-month sentence for ” sexual communication “along with his six-year sentence, according to the BBC.
Barber sent nudes and a live video of her performing a sexual act for the student, the communication channel said. In one incident, she allegedly lured him to a private camp where the two had sex. Barber also threatened to ensure that the student “fell for her” if their relationship was revealed, The Independent reported.

Barber must inform the police of his personal data and address for the rest of his life, as required by an order to prevent sexual harm, the BBC reported. Barber also faces a ban on working with minors or “vulnerable adults,” according to the vehicle.
