Taylor Swift fans are in an uproar after the singer was removed from a famous Nashville mural that celebrated country music legends and replaced by Brad Paisley.

The famous exhibition, which exists at Music City’s Legend’s Corner on Fifth and Broadway, is undergoing a makeover by artist Tim Davis, according to Fox 17. Swift removal is one of the first changes, and Swifties is standing of war.

When the news circulated that Swift was removed from the commemorative screen, several fans gave their opinion. Many claimed that the “Cardigan” singer won the right to be on the wall, with one person calling the switch “farce”.

“Taylor Swift being replaced on the legendary corner wall by a man is annoying enough, but when you consider the achievements and general praise it’s like … please,” one person responded on Twitter.

“Removing @ taylorswift13 from the Nashville mural is a scam, and replacing it with another dozen-faced white coin? Ugh, ”another tweeted. “So many other women from the country or from BIPOC who are seriously underrepresented. Bad move #Nashville.”

Most fans annoyed by the move argued that while Paisley deserves to be on the wall, Davis could have simply added it without removing Swift, a Grammy winner.

“I have a lot of respect that #bradpresysley was added to the legendary mural, but I am hurt that the city of Nashville could have put it in a different place, but they didn’t. They removed another young legend named Taylor Swift,” other reacted.

Meanwhile, a fan pointed out that Swift – who earlier this month released “Evermore”, a sister album to “Folklore” – has been releasing less country music in recent years.

“I think @ taylorswift13 should order a mural in Nashville with all the women in the country: past, present and future !!” someone else suggested.

In addition to Paisley, reports say Davis plans to bring two new stars to the mural. However, the artist has not yet revealed who they will be.

Other country music stars currently featured in the edition include Keith Urban, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton and Willie Nelson. The mural is next to the Ryman Auditorium in Music City.
