Taylor SwiftNashville’s status has just been achieved … it was removed from one of Music City’s historic attractions and replaced by Brad Paisley.
Taylor’s held his court for a while with some of the country’s biggest stars on the iconic mural at Legends Corner on Lower Broadway in Nashville. The wall features 14 icons … including Reba McEntire, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton.

But, artist Tim Davis is making some changes … with the old and the new. The artist reportedly said that Taylor’s image is being retired and 3 other stars, including Brad, will join the mural. At this point, it is not clear who else will appear on the wall.
The news, of course, did NOT please Swifties. One person tweeted his disgust about the news, saying … “Nashville really DID @ taylorswift13 on the Broadway corner legend wall … she’s a country music legend so what if she switched to different genres ?? why would they not just enlarged the mural. “
Good point. Remember, Taylor moved to the Nashville area when she was 14 to promote her country music career. Since then, she has had a huge crossover success – but being excluded from one of Nashville’s most famous murals hurt a little.
