The clarification came after WYFF News 4 obtained a surveillance video from a nearby gas station. (Watch the part of the video above)

Moore’s Jessica Munyon died on Blackstock Road on Wednesday. Police said Munyon was killed when a black Cadillac tried to stop and collided with his car.
The clarification revolves around what happened at the intersection of East Blackstock Road and Hidden Hill Road. This is the intersection where Hidden Hill Road turns into Old Anderson Mill Road.
The public information officer in the Spartanburg sheriff’s office, Lieutenant Kevin Bobo, said a deputy ended the chase for the black Cadillac before the crossing. It is about a kilometer and a half from where the violent accident occurred.

Surveillance video of a gas station at the intersection of East Blackstock Road and Hidden Hill Road shows a speeding black Cadillac, followed by a police officer, who appears to be a South Carolina highway cop on a motorcycle passing the intersection.
WYFF News 4 also obtained surveillance video right after the intersection again showing the Cadillac, followed by the deputy and police officer passing by.
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office said on Thursday in a press release that the deputy and the policeman stopped at the intersection and waited for the light to go green.
On Friday, Bobo said he misinterpreted the deputy’s report on what happened. Bobo said the policeman had written that he passed the intersection. Bobo said he thought it meant he stopped at the intersection.
