British teenage actor Archie Lyndhurst’s mother revealed the cause of her sudden death and shared a beautiful but painful tribute to her late son.
The star, best known for her role in the CBBC comedy series “So Awkward”, died at age 19 on September 22, 2020 – just a month before her birthday. He is the only son of Lucy Lyndhurst and husband and actor of “Only Fools and Horses” Nicolas Lyndhurst. On Friday, January 15, Lucy shared photos of the couple with Archie on Instagram and revealed that he died of a brain hemorrhage caused by a rare cancer.
“Four days before Christmas, Nick and I sat on Harley Street with the results of Archie’s second autopsy,” she wrote. “A very detailed document, which we had been advised by the coroner, would be a distressing reading and best explained by a doctor.
