On A late show with Stephen Colbert On Tuesday, the presenter performed “The Colbert Cut”, with himself in a bald cap replacing Jesse Eisenberg as Luthor. When Deathstroke mumbles to Luthor that he doesn’t have all day, he replies “Really? Because I think this is his only scene. It’s not like you’re fighting, um, Superman? Who It is your archenemy? “With Deathstroke’s admission that he fights the Teen Titans, Luthor starts a riff.” Wait – is your business fighting a team of teenagers? Where do you fight, the mall? Where is your secret lair, the food court? Under Orange Julius? forever 21? California Pizza Kitchen? Stop me if I get one of these! “

Luthor invites Deathstroke to join his team of supervillains, “But just to be clear, we are fighting adults.” Then, when Luthor takes a sip, an annoyed Deathstroke snatches it out of his hand. “Hey! It’s not cool, gunslinger!” When Deathstroke points out “this is Will Smith’s character from Suicide squad, “Luthor is incredulous.” Are your names Deadpool, Deadshot and Deathstroke? Those are literally the same names! How do you differentiate yourself? Oh, right – these guys don’t fight kids. “
