Steam’s latest Lunar New Year Promotion arrives with thousands of discounted games

Offers: The holiday season is over, but that doesn’t mean the economy has to stop. Yesterday, Steam kicked off its most recent annual Lunar New Year promotion, bringing tens of thousands of select businesses to a wide variety of games.

As usual with Steam sales these days – even the biggest ones, unfortunately – Valve did not prepare a meta event this time. There are no mini-games, competitions or gifts worth mentioning, so the offers must be valid in their own right.

Valve is giving away a new animated sticker with a Lunar New Year theme every day of the sale (made by the talented André Dias), but that’s all. Fortunately, the discounts are good enough that the lack of a special event doesn’t really matter.

You can organize offers by genre and theme, or simply browse the store’s main page, where you will find a selected selection of discounts to suit your specific tastes. Or at least what Steam think your tastes are.

One of the biggest discounts available is the Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition package, which will cost just $ 14.80. The package includes all the DLC and extras the game has received over time – it’s a $ 109 combo most of the time, so you’re saving yourself a little money.

You can also get the fantastic Total War: Three Kingdoms for just $ 30 (half the normal price) and Total War: Warhammer for $ 15 (75% off). If RPGs are more your speed, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is 60 percent off, and even the virtually new Cyberpunk 2077 has received a notable 10 percent price cut.

if you have any money to spend, now is the perfect time to check out the latest Steam offers. The Lunar New Year Sale ends on February 15 at 10am Pacific, and started yesterday, so there are still three days left to take advantage of it.
