South Carolina DB Jammie Robinson moving to the state of Florida

Florida State got another transfer on the defensive side of the ball. On Sunday afternoon, a former South Carolina defender Jammie Robinson announced the big news from their social media accounts. Robinson is leaving South Carolina after two seasons.

The 5-foot-11, 195-pound cornerback brings experience and athleticism to the secondary FSU. Robinson played in 10 games last season, registering 73 tackles and 1 INT. Robinson will have three years to play two as soon as he arrives in Tallahassee.

In 2019, Robinson was named Freshman All SEC (Coaches) and Second-Team Freshman All-America (PFF). He is originally from Leesburg (Georgia) and studied at Lee High School. Outside of high school, Robinson was 32nd in safety in the country and 393rd best overall player, according to the 2019 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Robinson is the seventh transfer addition to FSU in this off-season. They also added McKenzie Milton, McClellion Jarques, Andrew Parchment, Keir Thomas, DJ Williams and Jermaine Johnson.
