Sony has just revealed release dates for the upcoming PS5 games, including Project Athia, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, that adorable Stray cat game and more.
The news came during Sony’s CES 2021 conference, where a chart confirmed a series of release dates and release windows for PS5 games, some of which had already been dated. Here are the release dates for the PS5 game that we haven’t heard of until today, courtesy of industry analyst Daniel Ahmad.
- Return – 03/19/21
- Pragmata – 2023
- Solar Ash – June 2021
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits – March 2021
- Stray – October 2021
- Ghostwire Tokyo – October 2021
- Little Devil inside – July 2021
- Athia Project – January 2022
- Hitman III – January 2021
We suspect that the charming Kena: Bridge of Spirits from Ember Lab would be released in March for a while, but it is good to have official confirmation from Sony. Returnal’s release date should appeal to horror fans looking forward to the next PS5 exclusive. Meanwhile, Pragmata has been postponed from its original launch window from 2022 to 2023. Stray, which I will remember is a game in which you navigate a futuristic world invaded by robots like an ordinary domestic cat, is due to be officially launched in October. Ghostwire: Tokyo, first revealed during Bethesda’s E3 2019 showcase, is another intriguing title coming in October.
It is curious that Project Athia, a game with a healthy load of expectations on its shoulders, is released in January. However, there is always a chance that Sony will shuffle things – this information simply indicates the publisher’s current release plans for each game.
While we wait for the releases above, here are the best PS5 games to play now.
