In a new interview with GQ, Jim Ryan of Sony seems to cast some shadow over CD Projekt Red on the disastrous release of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 and the fact that it was pulled from PlayStation Store.

Speaking in the interview, Jim Ryan is based on the delay of Returnal, which is when he apparently decides to try the clumsy launch of the open world RPG by Polish developers

“Yes, we are feeling really good about Returnal, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon Forbidden West. And, you know, there are two approaches to this: you can keep the date and launch the game regardless of quality, or you can send it out when you’re right. We always take the latter approach. There have been some very important cases of publishers trying the previous approach. “

Although it does not directly mention the CD Projekt Red or Cyberpunk, it is quite clear what it refers to and suggests that Sony is very upset by the whole situation and the fact that it had to withdraw the game and offer refunds, an unprecedented move to the console manufacturer. You can read about why the game was such a mess in our December review.
