Skyward Sword HD accidentally leaks new feature

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite later this year. Nintendo revealed this earlier this week during a Nintendo Direct packed with a ton of news, including an (disappointing) update on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. At the time of the disclosure, Nintendo did not say in one way or another whether THE Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD would come with amiibo support, but a new leak suggests it will, and the leak came from Nintendo itself.

Not long after the $ 60 door was revealed, Nintendo eShop pre-orders went live. And in the process, it was revealed that amiibo support is being added to the game as a new feature. Unfortunately, that’s all the list reveals about the feature. In other words, there is no word on how it will work.

If the relaunch is supported for amiibo, would you imagine that Skyword sword Link amiibo will be supported, and there is a good chance of another Link amiibos as well. But could other Nintendo characters? Probably not, but it’s on the table, at least for now.

It is important to note that Nintendo did not comment on this apparent and accidental leak. If that changes, we’ll be sure to update the story with what is provided.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is scheduled to be released worldwide on July 16 via Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite. Not only will it require $ 60, but it will force you to clear 7.5 GB of space to download it.
