The sexy star of “Bridgerton” Regé-Jean Page unleashed the heavy breathing of the “Saturday Night Live” cast and wild screams from the audience during his monologue as a presenter for the first time.
The part was supposed to be a push for his fiery appeal as the Duke of Hastings on the Netflix series, but it was basically in the money.
“You probably recognize me from ‘Bridgerton’, the show that made everyone turn to their moms and say, ‘You know what? Forget it, I don’t think we should watch this together. ‘It’s a spicy show, ”he explained in the monologue.
“Because of that, people can associate me with this sensual and fiery smoke show. But I assure you, I’m just a normal guy, ”Page insisted.
Then he turned to a separate camera: “I’m here to show you how to have fun. I want us to have fun together, to explore each other. Does that sound nice to you? ”
Cast members Aidy Bryant, Ego Nwodim and Chloe Fineman – who dressed up as Page’s co-star Phoebe Dynevor – ended up drooling. He insisted that he was “really a type of nerd”. But they were not buying it.
Later on the show, Page and Fineman were trained for sex scenes for a fake “Bridgerton” episode by scary “intimacy coaches” surrogates played by Pete Davidson and Mikey Day.
