It looked like the letters on the sign were changed to read “Hollyboob”.
The changes were not permanent and the rangers quickly restored the signal to its normal status.
A few hours ago, a group tried to vandalize the Hollywood sign. Los Angeles landmarks are precious to us @LAPDHollywood and that was not legal (not to mention that the terrain is quite steep and dangerous). Hollywood patrol officers arrested all six individuals.

LAPD officials arrested six people.
The signal is protected by gates and sensors and entering the property is considered an invasion of property.
Attackers have managed to change the signal on a few occasions in the past, including changing it to “Hollyweed” in 2017 and “Holywood” for a visit by the pope in 1987.
In 2016, a YouTube prankster climbed the sign and displayed a banner that said “I’m back!”
