‘Sisters’ star Meri Brown says marriage to Kody is ‘dead’: ‘Better leave the ball in his court’

Meri and Kody Brown’s relationship seems to be over.

In the last two seasons of “Sister Wives”, the deteriorating marriage of Meri and Kody Brown has been a focal point of the series. Now, Meri is revealing that the relationship is “dead”.

“My relationship with Meri is – at best – just distant and friendly,” said Kody, 52, in a preview of Sunday’s episode, obtained by Us Weekly.

The sneak peek then returns to a therapy session two months earlier, in which Meri, 50, drops the bomb – stating, “The relationship between him and me is over. He’s dead. It’s over.”

“I’m very careful about forcing Kody, because I don’t want him to feel like I’m being demanding or aggressive or anything,” she laments. “I feel like I’ve already made it clear to him where I want the relationship to go, when it comes to just moving on. It’s better to leave the ball with him.”

Kody then explains his true feelings towards his first wife more than 30 years ago, citing that his “three other relationships” take precedence over Meri.

The fractures in Meri and Kody’s relationship date back to 2015, when it was revealed that Meri was “fished” online by a woman she thought was a man for relationship purposes.
