Sharon Osbourne left ‘The Talk’ after threats to support Piers Morgan instead of Meghan Markle

Sharon Osbourne reportedly resigned from the famous ‘The Talk’ program after being criticized for supporting Piers Morgan’s controversial comments about Meghan Markle’s bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Osbourne, who has been on ‘The Talk’ for all of his 11 seasons, has decided to leave the CBS program, he said in a statement.

“The events of the March 10 broadcast were disturbing for everyone involved, including the audience watching at home. As part of our review, we concluded that Sharon’s behavior towards his co-hosts during the March 10 episode it didn’t align with our respectful workplace values, “said the show’s executives.

He added: “We also found no evidence that CBS executives orchestrated the discussion or surprised any of the hosts.”

He concluded: “In the future, we are identifying plans to improve the production team and production procedures to better serve the hosts, the production and, ultimately, our viewers.”

Meghan and Harry made some shocking revelations about the Royal Family in their conversation with the United States TV presenter.

Morgan did not believe Markle’s claims of bullying within the royal family and doubted his claims of experiencing suicide as a result of the high stress situation.

Osbourne went on to show support for her longtime friend and tweeted:

Osbourne did not stop and continued to defend Morgan’s comments on an episode of his show ‘The Talk’ and had a heated discussion with co-host Sheryl Underwood.
