In an interview with Refinery29, hitmaker expressed that it set out to create versatile beauty products in use and made with non-harmful ingredients.

Specifically, Gomez stated that, ‘I wanted this line to look like everything fit together and that you could trust it.’

She also talked about how she viewed Rare Beauty as a company that actively made a difference in the lives of its customers.

Shortly after the post on Rare Beauty was done, Gomez revealed the track list for his next EP Revelacion and a new art piece from the album.

The composer made the first suggestion for a Spanish-language project in 2011, but made little reference to the idea in the years that followed.

On January 14, the artist released the single De Una Vez, which apparently confirmed suspicions that she was following through with her previous statement.

That same day, a music video for the song debuted on Gomez’s official YouTube account and received critical acclaim for its look.

Further speculation about the project arose when murals with various song titles were installed in the Mexican coastal city of Sayulita.

Later that month, Gomez officially made the EP available for pre-order and released the single Baila Conmigo soon after.

The next release will consist of seven songs, three of which include features by artists Rauw Alejandro, Myke Towers and DJ Snake.

Revelacion is scheduled to be released on March 12.
