Selena Gomez lived most of her life in the spotlight and it didn’t exactly make dating easy for her.

The 28-year-old actress and musician had her fair share of some much public relations and even more public separations.
And because of the intense attention that their fans pay to their relationships, their potential love interests often face harsh criticism.
That’s what happened to Selena Building Murders Only co-star Aaron Dominguez, who was bombarded with hostile and offensive comments after some PDA photos of the pair appeared.

It turns out that the photos were simply from a scene they were filming, but that didn’t stop fans from attacking Aaron.

“We had only started to work together. I honestly thought, ‘No wonder guys don’t want to date me!’ ”Selena told the LA Times.

Despite Selena’s complicated love life, she says she is “really grateful that she’s not involved with anyone right now”.
She also hopes that, as she gets older, the scrutiny of her relationships becomes less intense.

“I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get, the less they care. For now, it’s a part of the job that I don’t like very much, ”concluded Selena.
So while it is sad that Selena feels she cannot have a love life right now, I hope things will change for her soon!
