San Francisco 49ers, Deshaun Watson rumors: Deebo Samuel says Nick Bosa is untouchable

The rumors and rumors about the disgruntled Houston Texans quarterback, Deshaun Watson, will not stop until there is a resolution.

Watson is not happy with the Texans after the organization did not consult him before hiring Nick Caserio as the new general manager. Watson – who signed a four-year extension with Houston before the 2019 season – requested an exchange.

The San Francisco 49ers is one of the teams discussed as a potential landing site for Watson, but it would cost the franchise a lot of capital.

Former offensive NFL striker and current analyst Ross Tucker joined 95.7 The Game’s Steiny, Guru and Dibs for an interview and said Niners must offer defensive lineman Nick Bosa in a package for the 25-year-old quarterback.

“If you can get Deshaun Watson, I think Bosa is even touchable. I’m sure they don’t want to do that, and I’m sure they even prefer to give up on the choices, but as good as Nick is, you have a chance to get a top five quarterback in the NFL, you have to do that. “

49ers receiver Deebo Samuel responded to Tucker’s comments on his Instagram story:

Bosa injured his knee in a Week 2 victory in the first quarter of Week 2 over the New York Jets. Faithful felt his stomach tighten when news broke that the second-year defensive lineman tore his ACL and missed the rest of the season.

The 23-year-old was named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2019, after finishing with 47 tackles, 9 sacks and 25 QBs. Pro Football Focus gave him a score of 86.7 in his debut season, the fourth best among novice defenders since 2006.

Bosa’s absence was evident this season. Defensive coordinator Robert Saleh scored much more blitzes with Bosa out, and the defensive line failed to gather much pressure when running for four.

Fans also love Bosa. The reaction to him rising after an injury scare during the 2019 playoff victory over the Minnesota Vikings says it all.

Tucker adds that if he were general manager John Lynch, he would do everything he could to not include Bosa in a trade package for Watson, but ultimately, if necessary, he would pull the trigger.

Would you be willing to part with Bosa to get Watson?
