Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S7 Lite has a lot of important details leaked

In addition to one (or more likely, two) new, next-generation Android tablets designed to take on Apple’s next-generation iPad Pros, Samsung is apparently working in an intermediate sequence (or possibly two) to the newly discounted Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Of course, none of that information is set in stone yet, including the marketing label mentioned above, which some informants have thought of as a mere possibility of delay alongside an equally plausible Tab S8e candidate.
Then again, more and more respectable insiders and rumormongers seem to be referring to the impending mid-end slate only as the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, strongly suggesting that this will in fact be the official nickname selected by its manufacturer. In addition, the almost always reliable personnel of GalaxyClub in the Netherlands (translated here) claim to have received new information from their sources about things like color options and storage settings.
The Tab S7 Lite is supposed to see the light of day in shades of black, silver, pink and green, at least in Europe, possibly eclipsing last year’s Chiffon Pink, Angora Blue and Oxford Gray paintings Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in number and overall visual impact.
The green flavor in particular looks exciting, although it is not entirely clear at the moment exactly what shade to expect. Whether it’s lighter or darker, it’s probably safe to assume Samsung intends to offer fierce competition for attractive Fourth-generation iPad Air this year at a significantly lower price.

Interestingly, the 12.4-inch jumbo-sized tablet could be launched in the old continent only in variants with limited Wi-Fi and capable of 5G. As previous speculation also suggested the existence of a mobile-enabled configuration that only supports 4G LTE speeds, we would not exclude a US launch on a total of three major models at some point this summer.

In the meantime, there should be two storage versions worldwide, presumably accommodating a maximum of 64 and 128 GB of data internally, just like the Tab S6 Lite. The rest of the details are kept secret, including whether Samsung is also planning to launch a smaller 11-inch Tab S7 Lite model in 2021, in which case the 12.4-inch device could be dubbed the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite Plus.
