Sammy Watkins visiting Ravens; Josh Reynolds for Titans; Chris Conley chooses Texans

Cincinnati Bengals is running out of options if they want to add another impact pass collector.

On Monday, wide receiver Chris Conley agreed to an agreement with the Houston Texans, while Josh Reynolds reached an agreement with the Tennessee Titans.

And it looks like Sammy Watkins may also be leaving the market soon, because he’s supposed to be visiting the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday.

As for the offensive guard market, another notable option simply left the board when Brian Winters agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals.

We talked about how Reynolds was an ideal fit for Bengals, where he would be reuniting with Zac Taylor after the two had been with the Los Angeles Rams together for several years, but that obviously isn’t going to happen now.

Eighth-year player in 2021, Watkins managed 321 passes for 4,665 yards and 33 scores in 86 games (82 matches). Last season with the Kansas City Chiefs, Watkins picked up 37 passes for 421 yards and two goals in a charged attack that included Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce.

Conley, a sixth-year player in 2021, accumulated 191 receptions for 2,484 yards and 13 touchdowns in 84 games (52 matches). Last season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, he took 40 balls for 471 yards and two goals. He never reached 800 receiving yards in one season, but it could have been a good 3rd / 4th option for Bengals.

Winters, a ninth-year player in 2021, has played 105 career games (88 matches). He had a season with a PFF score of 70+ (2016) and had a score of 54.6 last season. Although he is no Joe Thuney, Winters would have been a useful and inexpensive option that, at worst, would have added more competition to the Bengals’ weaker position group at the moment.

For the next options.
