A New York man with ties to Roger Stone and ties to the far-right militia The Oath Keepers was arrested by federal agents on charges related to the Capitol riots in January, law enforcement officials with knowledge of the case told News 4 on Monday. market.
Roberto Minuta, 36, is expected at the White Plains federal court later in the day.
Minuta, a tattoo artist, was previously identified by CNN and others as having provided security for Stone on the morning of January 6, before the riots. He was arrested at a company in the Newburgh area on Saturday.
The lawyer’s information about him was not immediately available, nor were there details about the charges against him.
Police officers also identified another man on Monday who is now facing charges in the Capitol disturbance case: Isaac Sturgeon, of Dillon, Montana, 32. Sturgeon was arrested at JFK airport on Saturday, returning from Kenya, officials said.
He is reportedly seen on a body camera pushing barricades against the police on the day of the riot and faces several related charges, including physical violence and obstruction, as well as civil disorder.
Sturgeon is due to appear in Brooklyn federal court on Monday. Prosecutors plan to ask a judge to order his detention without bail until trial. He is being represented by federal public defender Ashley Burrell, who, when contacted by News 4 New York, made no comment.

The owner of the Montana gardening company reportedly flew to Kenya on January 24, eight days after his photo was added to the FBI page of wanted suspects linked to the riot.
