Rockets, Cavaliers, Thunder, considered the only true NBA sellers, entering the deadline

With the NBA expanding its playoff format and a crowd of teams around 0.500, there are only a limited number of teams that will seek to sell pieces before the negotiation deadline.

“They are selling,” said Tim MacMahon of the Houston Rockets. “They are definitely selling.”

“The only teams that are really selling are Houston, Cleveland and Oklahoma City,” interrupted Tim MacMahon. “Everyone is aether not going anywhere, as probably a team like Detroit, or trying to make it to the playoffs.”

The Cavaliers are aggressively buying Andre Drummond, while the Rockets could make Victor Oladipo available. Thunder, meanwhile, has replaced several of its veterans in the past few months, as it began a complete reconstruction.
