Prince Harry may have taken it a step too far in his attempt to embrace the Los Angeles lifestyle, according to actor Rob Lowe, who says the 36-year-old man is now wearing a ponytail.
Rob, 56, made the wild statement during an interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show, during which he revealed that he saw a man he believed to be Harry driving through the Montecito neighborhood with long hair.
‘I just met your countryman, the English treasure, Prince Harry, at the traffic light 10 minutes ago,’ Rob told British comedian James, before saying he might have a ‘scoop’ on the king. ‘It was really, really fast – don’t tell me all about it – but it looked like he was wearing a ponytail.

‘I’m just saying. He seemed to me to be a casual observer that his hair had grown out a lot and was tied too tightly so I can only assume it was a ponytail.
Unsurprisingly, James was quick to express doubts about Rob’s celebrity – insisting that the actor must have mistaken Prince Harry for another local man, saying to him: ‘A ponytail? I am sure it is not true.
– Do you know what I think happened? I don’t think you saw Prince Harry.
However, Rob was adamant that he had indeed seen the king, confessing that he actually followed the man in question to Harry and Meghan Markle’s $ 14.5 million Montecito mansion to make sure it was him.
‘It was him because I have to say … I followed him home to see if the car got in,’ Rob admitted, noting that he was more aware of who he had seen because Prince Harry had been ‘reclusive’ since moved to the neighborhood in the summer of 2020.

Prince Harry was recently seen in early December, appearing in a promotional video for Netflix in which he modeled the same short, elegant hairstyle he wore for years, so it seems incredibly unlikely that he grew a ponytail in the month since then.
The duke’s unconfirmed sighting of the duke comes almost a year after the anniversary of Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down from older members of the royal family in a move that is widely known as Megxit.
Since then, the couple has lived in three different houses: first, a secluded property on exclusive Vancouver Island, Canada, from where they moved to Tyler Perry’s sprawling Beverly Hills mansion, where they resided for several months before settling in for Casa de Montecito own account.
In addition to Rob, the couple has a number of important neighbors, including their friend Oprah, as well as Ellen DeGeneres, who reportedly bought a house near the couple late last year.
