Riverdale season 5 footage reveals first look at Archie Post-Time Jump

The leap in the post-cast Riverdale cast has been revealed, including Archie in the army, reporter Betty, Jughead without a hat and much more of the CW drama.

Fans are finally seeing the world of Riverdale post-time jump with a new series of promotional images that show Archie in the army and more. The popular teen drama recently returned to CW and Netflix to begin season 5, which began with the final planned episodes of season 4 and the end of high school for the main cast of characters. After the first few, Riverdale will be making a seven-year leap in the future.

Throughout its first four seasons, Riverdale gathered a loyal fan base both for its eclectic cast of characters and for its increasingly bizarre dramatic plots. Riverdale’s the stories began with a focus on a single murder case, but have since expanded to include cults, underground fighting rings, serial killers, organ harvesting and much, much more murder. Through it all, Riverdale it has become an important cultural landmark, with countless other programs emerging in its wake to mirror its grim approach to teen drama.

The characters in the show will not be teenagers for much longer, however, as their leap into adulthood approaches. Fans can now finally see the cast for the first time after the time jump, courtesy of a new series of images revealed by Weekly entertainment. The photos show Archie in an army uniform, Betty in front of some kind of expansive investigation panel, Jughead embracing a classic “lost generation” writer style (without his signature hat) and the new character Tabitha Tate – Pop’s granddaughter There is also a look at the iconic restaurant and Toni Topaz performing at a show.

Although they are canonically older, the main characters don’t look very different years later. With college ending soon for teenagers, fans have been theorizing about what strength or strengths could bring them back to their hometown so many years later. With the cast all following different careers and leaving for new homes, it must be interesting to see them reunited after so long.

Of course, the central nature of the show is unlikely to change much after the time jump. Riverdale’s teenagers have not been much concerned with normal teen problems for some time, concentrating on solving and committing various crimes. At the very least, the leap should shake up some of the relationship dynamics that have been established for so long. Fans expect even more drama, Riverdale the 5th season continues on CW and Netflix.
