“The Real Housewives of New York” are not putting their happiness on hold for Bethenny Frankel’s marital happiness.
Current cast members of the reality show were irritated by former member Frankel on Tuesday as they suspected that tycoon Skinnygirl timed the news of her engagement to be released the same day that Bravo released the 13th season trailer for “RHONY” , a source told Page Six.
“They are all confused because she is still obsessed with ‘RHONY’ and would orchestrate the news of her engagement to leave at the same time as the show’s trailer,” a source close to the show sneaked us out.
“Bethenny is just being mean, but she can’t take the happiness out of the cast or how hard they worked this season during the coronavirus pandemic.”
Page Six confirmed that Frankel said “yes” to Paul Bernon – and a ring worth $ 1 million – after she was spotted with massive rock in Florida over the weekend.
However, a source close to Frankel told us that Frankel never confirmed any engagement news – the paparazzi took pictures and saw the ring.
Frankel was a cast member from the beginning of the show (2008) until his third season (2010). She returned for the 7th season (2015) and stayed until the 11th season (2019). The current cast includes Sonja Morgan, Leah McSweeney, Ramona Singer, Eboni K. Williams and Luann de Lesseps.
“The cast collectively feels that the series is much better without it and that it would not have been able to navigate the serious topics of this season,” joked the source.
The trailer said that women are putting racial and social justice issues at the forefront of their season, with Williams and Singer’s heated confrontation over calling the home team “help”.
Williams is also making history this season as the first black member of the cast.
“I’m a huge fan of the entire ‘Housewives’ franchise,” Williams told Page Six in October. “But it was so obvious to me and I think for the rest of the country that you can’t have a program about New York and not have a black woman lens represented … So, for 12 years, that was the case. I really think that people are making efforts around that. I’m not sure why this has never happened until now. “
