Black Ops Cold War has a wide range of shotguns to choose from, and the Gallo SA12 is one of the most popular choices in season two. Here’s a loadout that makes it even more powerful.
Most Call Of Duty games restrict you to revolvers and launchers for the secondary weapon slot, but Black Ops Cold War changed things and allowing you to equip shotguns in that slot as well.
There are several excellent options in the game, but the Gallo SA12 (SPAS-12) semi-automatic rifle is particularly notable. While it may not have the range of the game’s SMGs or assault rifles, it has fantastic potential for killing in close-up shootings, and we classify it as a level S shotgun on our tier list.
Its high rate of fire and damage make it the ideal choice for hand-to-hand combat. You can use certain accessories and perks to greatly improve your death potential in Season 2 of the Cold War.

The shotgun’s main strengths are its hip shot accuracy and high rate of fire, so this loadout will complement those elements. O 21.4 ”Heavy Duty barrel will increase the rate of fire even more while strengthening your damage. That way, you will be able to face anyone who approaches you with an SMG.
You can increase the spread of shotgun lead by 50% with the Duckbill Choke muzzle so you don’t have to do ADS to hit your target. This comes with the added bonus of hitting other targets within the propagation radius as well. The accuracy of the hip shot is increased with the SWAT 5MW laser vision, which goes well with the snout. Now you no longer have to worry about stopping and aiming.
The only thing that prevents the high rate of fire is the small amount of ammunition in your magazine. Adding the STANAG 12 round tube compensate for this by increasing the amount that the Gallo SA12 can carry, and the Wire stock Slightly increases your speed to your shooting speed so you can get closer to your enemies faster.

In Cold War multiplayer, players often throw a grenade in front of them to stop their attack, but with the Bulletproof vest and the Gallo SA12 equipped, you can go straight and hit them in the face.
To make sure you can keep your sequence alive and launch a ton of projectiles at your enemy, Butcher will allow you to replenish ammunition from fallen enemies. And for some extra mobility, Gung-Ho will allow you to shoot while running, be more precise when sliding and reload quickly.
How to unlock the Gallo SA12 in season 2 of the Cold War
The Gallo SA12 Shotgun can be unlocked in Level 34. You are already halfway there through the level unlocks, so it will take a few hours to get there. Just prioritize getting killstreaks and playing the objective and soon you will fly through the levels.
Best alternatives to Gallo SA12
The Gallo SA12 dominates close-quarters combat, so you’ll want to use weapons that can do similar damage. The Streetsweeper is an obvious choice, being semi-automatic, but also capable of shooting enemies at close range. The akimbo Diamatti pistols will also tear players up close, making them a valuable addition to your equipment.
This construction will make you a killing machine with the Gallo SA12 equipped. Keep it ready for hand-to-hand combat and you will be a force to be reckoned with.
