Good news! The refueling of the PS5 is back to Sony. You can join Sony’s virtual queue by clicking on this Sony Direct link. By clicking on the link, you will be taken directly to the online queue.
Once in the virtual queue, you will have to wait to get to the front of the queue. The waiting time can vary and there is a good chance that you will have “more than an hour” waiting. If that’s the case, don’t despair. The status can change quickly and you may experience a shorter than expected wait time. (For example, after waiting 20 minutes at a previous PS5 refueling event, our time has been reduced from “more than an hour” to just 15 minutes).

It is important to note that just because you have secured a place in the queue does not guarantee that you will have a chance to purchase the PS5. Sony clearly states that “PS5 consoles are limited and not guaranteed, even if you are in the queue.” In addition, it may be necessary to resolve a captcha. (A simple challenge / question to make sure you’re not a bot). As a result, you must ensure that the browser tab remains highlighted, because if it is not, you may lose the captcha challenge and lose your place in the queue.
As soon as you reach the front of the line, you will hear a beep (make sure the sound is on) and you will be redirected to PlayStation Store. You will have 10 minutes to proceed with your purchase. You can buy the PS5 for $ 499 or the PS5 Digital for $ 399.
