Regina King’s dog Cornbread was the real winner of the Golden Globes

This is the name of Regina King’s dog that seemed to win the hearts of the spectators during the pre-show of the Golden Globe.

While King was showing off his Golden Globe costume at pre-show ceremonies at E! and on NBC, Cornbread was just vibrating behind her on a canine bed.

“Regina King’s dog channeling my mood”, tweeted Suspense writer Esther Zuckerman.
“Regina King’s dog just caught his interview on the Golden Globe” red carpet “and this is something that should happen on every red carpet going forward”, tweeted author Riley Sager.
“The best accessory tonight is the King of Regina’s dog settling very slowly in his bed,” TV Review Kelly Lawler tweeted.
King is nominated for the best director award for his film “One Night in Miami”. She is one of three filmmakers in the category, the first in the history of the Golden Globe.

King is the second black woman nominated in the category.

If she wins, I hope Cornbread is awake to see the potential win.
