Razer’s high-tech face mask concept is entering production

I didn’t think it would go beyond CES’s brilliant renderings and headlines, but Razer’s RGB-infused face mask made aspiring cyber ninja very excited, and the company responded by creating the thing.

Earlier this week, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan told Yahoo Finance that the electronics maker plans to manufacture its Project Hazel mask concept. In addition to the RGB razzle-dazzle, it has a built-in microphone and speaker that can amplify your voice when you speak, with bacterial filtration efficiency pods that can capture 95 percent of airborne particles, making it comparable to an N95 mask.

Tan did not say when the mask would go into production, but explained that after vaccination, many will still want to mask it in the future. There are also countries and regions where this may not be able to vaccinate its entire population within a year or two. The CEO added: “Project Hazel is going to be a reality. We are going to make it happen and I think, unfortunately, we will be wearing masks for a long time.”

Devoted followers of Zack Snyder, the director behind Steel man and Batman vs. Super man, cried out to see their version of the 2017 Justice League. It was meant to be as meaningful to comic book fans as the Marvel book Avengers. But when Snyder announced that he would leave the film in the middle of production to look after his family, Joss Whedon, who led the Avengers films, was hired to finish the project. The theatrical version of Justice League, a mixed film by two very different artists, failed both critics and fans.

The fans got what they wanted / deserved: a four-hour cut with the goal of capturing Snyder’s complete vision. Keep reading.

Dyson v15 Detect

Dyson v15 Detect

Dyson is very aware that we all spend more time indoors and a lot more time in our own homes. At the microscopic (somewhat revolting) level, this means that we are all losing more skin and hair cells on our floors, carpets and rugs. The new models of vacuum cleaners from Dyson, in various sizes and prices, claim to offer a level of cleanliness that you can see – and some use lasers for this.

The Dyson V15 Detect, which is the $ 699 showcase model for the company’s technology updates, includes a green laser diode that fires a ‘blade’ of green light, which is apparently the best color to be detected by the human eye. .

The green laser on the cleaning head of the V15 has an angle of 1.5 degrees, leaving 7.2 mm from the ground. This specific distance helps to create “the best contrast between dust and floor,” according to the company’s spokesman. It should also make vacuuming wooden floors a little more exciting, through the stupid and inexplicable appeal of laser beams. Keep reading.

NASA has been channeling its advanced technology into everyday products for decades. Now, its tire technology has turned into a startup called Smart, which uses airless memory alloy tire (SMA) technology – originally built for lunar and Mars rovers – for an airless bicycle tire.

Composed of interconnected springs that do not require inflation, superelastic tires, says Smart, are built like titanium to withstand rough terrain without becoming flat. The pitch is a ride without holes, and if it is good enough for Mars, it is sure to be good for that Sunday excursion. Keep reading.
