Random: Twitch Streamer takes on Super Mario World using only voice commands

We’ve all seen bizarre game configurations broadcast online before – like the time someone played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate using a bunch of bananas as a controller or Cadence of Hyrule being played on a dance mat – and the last effort to get our attention takes us back to the wonderful levels found in Super Mario World.

This time, Twitch’s Australian juzcook streamer took over the game’s first world with a completely revamped control method – instead of traditional control, voice commands are used to make Mario jump, run, stop and take steps towards the left or right.

You can watch juzcook take on a number of Twitch levels right here, but this Twitter clip below shows one of the best moments in the stream. Keep an eye on the timer as Mario listens to commands to beat the ‘Yoshi Island 3’ level:

We can’t imagine going too far without getting confused, saying the wrong thing and then feeling guilty for yelling at Mario for making him fall off a cliff, then props for juzcook for breaking the stage in style.

So, what other games would be fun with voice control? We are happy to assist anyone, to be honest.
