Random: a Reddit user leaked half of yesterday’s Nintendo correctly immediately

Super Rush Mario Golf Switch

There were around 30 games shown in total during Nintendo Direct yesterday, including popular third-party game releases, new indies and even some remastered Nintendo releases, but thanks to a leak on Reddit, about half of them (or their titles, at least) were already circulating online ahead of time.

A well-known trickster named PracticalBrush12 shared a list of titles just hours before the presentation began. The accuracy on display – particularly when it comes to new games like Mario Golf: Super Rush that hadn’t been revealed before Direct – suggests that the Reddit user certainly has internal knowledge when it comes to Nintendo presentations.

In a post with shared spoiler just after 8pm GMT on February 17th, PracticalBrush12 wrote:

“Just a list, see here: Project Triangle Strategy, NeonWhite, SaGa Frontier, World End Club, Fall Guys, Legend Of Mana, Stubbs, No More Heroes 3, Mario Golf, Apex Legends, Ghosts and Goblins Resurrected, Tales from Borderlands, Ninja Gaiden, Miitopia, Samurai Warriors 5 … Oh, and I forgot the Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD “

As we now know, all of these titles actually appeared on Direct, alongside several others not listed here as the show’s grand finale, Splatoon 3.

We’re sure that Nintendo won’t be too happy to see the list leak out ahead of time, and we’re sure that most fans wouldn’t like a spoiled Direct either, but there’s no doubt that there’s some demand for leaks like these at the first opportunity.

Either way, it seems that Nintendo has a problem at hand.
