Rams will travel to Green Bay to face Packers in the Divisional Round

The number 6 seed Rams will travel to Green Bay next Saturday to face the No. 1 seed Packers at Lambeau Field in the divisional playoff round. Lambeau Field’s kick-off is scheduled for 1:35 pm Pacific time on FOX.

The Rams are going to Green Bay as a result of being the lowest remaining seed in the NFC key, as Bears’ number 7 lost to the Saints on Sunday. The No. 2 Saints will host the No. 5 Buccaneers in another Divisional Round match on Sunday, January 17 at 3:40 pm Pacific time on FOX.

The Packers said goodbye in the first round, which, along with the conference seed, was won through a regular 13-3 record in the regular season, the NFL’s No. 1 scoring attack and No. 9 of total defense.

Including the postseason, next weekend’s divisional playoff game will mark the 96th meeting of all time and the third playoff meeting between the two teams.

The Rams and Packers first met in the playoffs of the Western Conference Championship in 1967, a 28-7 victory by the Packers at Milwaukee County Stadium. They would also face off in the divisional round after the 2001 season, a 45-17 win for the Rams in St. Louis, which sent them into the NFC championship game against the Eagles.
