The scarcity of PS5 stocks has caused Sony to be hurt by the consumer website Trustpilot.
PS5 restocking problems have been a constant since console pre-orders began shipping in late 2020.
PlayStation 5 consoles typically sell out within minutes of going on sale, leading to months of frustration for game fans.
Things have not been made easy by bots and money changers, who are reselling units at inflated prices.
With Sony’s failure to communicate with customers, fans began posting negative reviews on sites like Trustpilot.
After the launch of the PlayStation 5, Sony UK Trustpilot’s rating dropped to just 1.7 stars.
Reviewers criticized Sony for poor planning and for not communicating when PlayStation 5 consoles would be back in stock.
Obviously, it’s not a complete disaster for Sony, because the PS5 remains popular whenever it’s on sale.
Things are also expected to improve in February, especially if reports of a large stock decline prove to be correct.
There are even reports that Argos may have PS5 stock in the early hours of January 24th.
Although there have been many conflicting reports about Argos refueling, some say the units will be available from 1am UK time.
“Argos employees reported dealing with several PS5s in preparation for launch,” says a tweet from PS5 UK Stock. “Several officials said that we should expect a fall between 1 am and 4 am today or tomorrow night, unfortunately.”

Although Sony may have suffered from Trustpilot, anyone who is lucky enough to really protect a console will be in for a surprise.
The new PlayStation device has some fantastic features to accompany its killer launch line.
Most notable of all is the DualSense controller, which uses advanced tactile feedback to mirror the action on the screen.
In games like Astro’s Playroom, for example, you will feel when your character walks on the ice or is thrown back by a strong gust of wind.
Adaptive triggers are also used to better mimic the feeling of firing a gun or pulling strings from a bow.
Adaptive triggers are best demonstrated in games like Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Fortnite and Borderlands 3, where different weapons provide different levels of resistance.
It will be interesting to see how games like Horizon Zero Dawn 2 use adaptive triggers and tactile feedback, especially considering the emphasis on hunting heavy beasts with high-tech bows.
