If you’re looking for where to buy the PS5, you might be lucky this week. It looks like Sony is launching PS5 refueling on its own online store sporadically, so while you’re ready, your chance to win the elusive console may be coming soon.
Sony Direct had the PS5 in stock yesterday, but the units sold out in less than 30 minutes after a virtual queue. Today is a new day and it is starting to look like the availability of the PS5 is reaching unprecedented demand. Of course, you still need to beat the money changers, but the likelihood of successfully checking out must be increasing.
Be sure to check frequently for better chances during a PS5 refill. Once a Sony Direct queue goes live, you’ll want to join the queue. Keep the browser sound on to hear a beep that indicates that you have reached the beginning of the queue and make sure you have already set up a Sony PSN account for quick checkout.
Having a seat in the queue does not guarantee that you will add a PS5 to your cart – buyers are selected at the front of the queue at random – but do not be discouraged if a Sony Direct refill ends before you buy yours.
Again, we noticed that the retailer increased the PS5’s refueling frequency, so we could witness another drop or two later this week. In the past, stock was made available on Tuesdays and Fridays.
As you probably know, Sony Direct is not the only way to buy a PS5. Many online retailers are available here and there. A PS5 source believes that millions of consoles will hit stores in April, so use the links below to check. Who knows? You can be the lucky user who notices a PS5 refueling before the masses.
