Sony wants you to get your hands on a PS5. They are now directly inviting people to buy during the next refueling.
Another huge replenishment of the PS5 is coming – and it is today. It seems that Sony is gradually correcting its PS5 inventory problems, as new inventories are arriving faster and with more units.
BestBuy had a major replenishment of the PS5 last week on the 12thº March, with another one even earlier on the 11thº. A retailer also promised two this month alone.
So things are looking up in the PS5 stock front. We imagine that those desperate to secure a PS5 console do not need to work as hard as in the winter months.
While the scarcity of stocks is far from over, with the first signs of spring appearing, PS5 stocks are starting to become more abundant. Finally.
It also coincides with the rapid distribution of COVID-19 vaccines, which will be helping markets to return to an appearance of normalcy. The new United States government has also pledged to support the console market, now that certain trade restrictions have ended.
How else would the PS5 have been able to secure its fastest-selling console status in the history of the United States? Especially in such a short time, during a shortage and a global pandemic.
Sony’s plan to replenish today’s PS5
The latest replenishment of Sony’s PS5 will air today. The company seems to have an air of confidence that it can help anyone who wants a PS5 to finally get one.
To help with this endeavor, Sony is inviting potential buyers directly to attend their refueling with a series of emails. They are even sending users personalized URLs that they (and only they) can use to purchase a PS5.
The goal is to help Sony fans protect a console without worrying about money changers or stock running out too quickly.
Those who have received an e-mail will be able to purchase a console today, when refueling begins without complications.
Refueling starts today at 12 pm PT – 3 pm ET.
How do I get an invitation to buy a PS5?
As far as we know, the invitations were sent to those on the PS5’s official email list.
So, if you registered interest in the PS5 last year or earlier this year, check your email and junk folders. – You can have one waiting for you.
Apparently, there is no way to sign up now and receive an invitation for today. There appears to be a finite number of invitations sent.
However, you can be included in the next PS5 refueling – so sign up now on Sony’s email list for a chance to be invited to future stock drops.
But remember; you don’t need an invitation to try your luck buying a PS5 today, when refueling happens. There may be enough inventory to protect a console without an email, so go ahead!
