Problems with the Xbox Series X controller button? You are not alone

Microsoft has recognized an ongoing problem with unresponsive facial buttons on the current Xbox controller:

Microsoft, as well as Sony and Nintendo, has already faced collective action for control issues, but that was for the drift joystick, in fact, a less publicized issue with the Xbox controller, but occasionally one of the same. This seems to be a standard among modern controllers, and it is easy to go through several in a generation, not because of any kind of abuse, but the normal wear and tear that creates problems with the joysticks, battery life or now, the buttons. Of course, more work needs to be done to ensure the lifespan of these controllers as more and more technology is accumulated in them as generations progress.
