After her husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra received a big shout from his father-in-law Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. On Saturday, Paul Kevin Jonas shared a photo from the newly released Priyanka Chopra film The white tigerand asked his Instafam to go watch the actress’ film, in which she stars with Rajkummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. Paul Kevin Jonas Sr. wrote in his caption: “Everyone is going to see this powerful film starring our wonderful daughter-in-law.” Priyanka Chopra replied to her father-in-law’s post and placed a heart-eyed emoji in the comments section of her post. The white tiger was directed by filmmaker Ramin Bahrani and was produced by Priyanka Chopra. It was launched on the streaming giant Netflix globally.

The white tiger is based on the novel of the same name, winner of the Bookrav Prize of Aravind Adiga. It shows the history of the rags to Balram Halwai’s wealth. The film received mixed reviews. Film critic Saibal Chatterjee, in his criticism of NDTV, gave the film 3 stars out of 5.
Priyanka Chopra married Nick Jonas in a Christian and Hindu ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur on December 1 and 2, 2018. The couple later organized receptions in Delhi and Mumbai.
