Prince Albert of Monaco says Harry, Meghan telling everything bothered him

Prince Albert II of Monaco admitted in a new interview that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey “bothered him”.

The son of Prince Rainier and Princess Grace said the couple, who moved to California after Megxit, should have expressed their concerns in private, rather than on national TV.

“It is very difficult to be in someone’s shoes. I can understand the pressures they underwent, but I think that this kind of public demonstration of dissatisfaction, to say the least, this type of conversation should be carried out within the intimate environment of the family, ”said Albert, 63, to BBC World News on Thursday on March 25th.

“It doesn’t really need to be placed in the public sphere like that.”

The environmentalist acknowledged that he could “understand where they came from” and only wished the best in their new lives.

“It’s a tough world out there, and I hope he has the insight and wisdom to make the right choices,” he said.

Prince Harry, 36, and Markle, 39, dropped several bombs during the discussion with Winfrey, including the allegation that someone in the family questioned the color of his son Archie’s skin. Markle also said he had suicidal thoughts and claimed that he did not receive support from The Firm when he asked for treatment.

The couple refused to reveal the identity of the person who was worried about Archie, but later confirmed that it was not Queen Elizabeth II or Prince Philip.

“He didn’t tell me who was part of those conversations,” said Winfrey the day after the interview. “As you can see, I tried to get that answer – on and off camera.”
