President Biden ‘is fine’ after several falls on the stairs of Air Force One, reports Today

President Joe Biden is “doing well” and did not demand medical attention after crashing several times while trying to board Air Force One on Friday, according to a Today report.

Biden was on his way to meet leaders in Atlanta’s Asian American community after a series of shootings at a deadly spa in the area when he stumbled.

The video of Biden’s falls went viral on social media, with the hashtag #Bidenfall.

This happened after the president was injured in November last year, before his inauguration. Biden fractured his foot while playing with his dog Major, forcing him to wear a boot for several weeks.

White House officials told the Today Show that the president did not need medical attention after the incident.

According to an Associated Press report, on Friday, Biden was able to meet with leaders from the Asian American community and Georgia’s Pacific Islanders at Emory University in Atlanta.

Biden called the racist shootings “moving” and said the targeted attacks against Asian Americans and the Pacific Islands were part of a “dizzying peak” of harassment and violence, reports the AP.

“Our silence is complicity. We cannot be accomplices, ”Biden told the Associated Press. “They were attacked, guilty, scapegoated and harassed; they were verbally assaulted, physically assaulted, killed, ”said Biden of Asian Americans during the coronavirus pandemic.

Vice President Kamala Harris told the Associated Press that the motive related to race in the shooting is clear.

“Racism is real in America. It always has been. Xenophobia is real in America, and always has been. Sexism too, ”Harris told the Associated Press. “The president and I are not going to be silent. We will not stand still. We will always speak out against violence, hate crimes and discrimination, where and when it occurs. “
