Possibly leaked the new Mario Nintendo Switch game

A new Mario The game for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, and possibly Super Switch, may have just leaked, or at least that’s what Nintendo fans think happened. Nintendo did not share what it has in store for 2021, but many are expecting a lot of games after a somewhat quiet 2020, including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Bayonetta 3, and possibly even Mario Kart 9. That said, in addition to these games, plus some others like Metroid Prime 4, Nintendo fans are looking forward to a sequence of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Ubisoft’s 2017 turn-based strategy game that merged the world of Mario with the world of Rabbids.

Speculation about a sequel to the 2017 hit hits Twitter and after the official version of Rabbids is transformed from “@RabbidsOfficial” to “@MarioRabbids”. At the moment, it is not clear why Ubisoft and Nintendo made this change, but that not only suggests a sequel, but signals a potentially imminent announcement.

For now, all of this is just speculation, but as the speculation points out, it is unclear what else could be happening here. If it’s just a change for a change, it’s very, very random.

At the time of publication, no party involved – Ubisoft or Nintendo – commented on the change and the speculations it created, and it is unlikely to do so at this time. However, if it does, we will be sure to update the story accordingly. In the meantime, if you are a fan of the 2017 game mentioned above, stay tuned.
