It’s official, The Pokémon Company announced Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are coming this year.
The PR describes how the original Nintendo DS was faithfully reproduced. There are also a number of updates, including user-friendly and easy-to-understand conveniences.
All of this made fans wonder if the content of the third version, Pokémon Platinum, will display. According to a Twitter user known as’voltimer‘, there is a good chance that yes, based on the reveal trailer:
As can be seen above, there is apparently an extra NPC in the Platinum version of Floaroma Town that is also present in the Switch version. This character gives you Gracidea if you have Shaymin on hand.
It is also considered to be “more concrete evidence” than the appearance of Porygon-Z in the Switch trailer – which appears in the post-game for Diamond and Pearl.
