Pokémon may have triggered Let’s Go Diamond & Pearl and the reaction is mixed, at best

A recent tweet from Pokémon’s official Twitter account suggested a remake of Let’s Go Diamond / Pearl, and fan reaction is … mixed, at best.

Earlier today, Pokémon may have caused the existence of a Come on Diamond and Pearl remake and the reaction is mixed at best. Remakes of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl are rumors and have long been desired among fans. With Pokémon Day coming in just a few days, the belief between Pokémon fans was that, if such remakes existed, they would be revealed on the franchise’s 25th anniversary.

As Pokémon Day 2021 gets closer and closer, rumors / leaks about a Pokémon Diamond / Pearl remake have intensified more and more. Last month, it leaked that any Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remakes would be more like the Pokémon: Come on! games and a recent tweet from the official Pokémon Twitter account suggested this possibility. With that said, the initial reaction to that Pokémon tweet is so mixed. The brief tweet says: “Come on, Sinnoh! Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup are getting ready for #PokemonDay – just 4 days left!“It’s the beginning of the tweet,”Come on, Sinnoh!“this made some fans worried because it looks like an unofficial confirmation of the leak from last month. While the most liked responses to the tweet, voice support and enthusiasm about a Pokémon Let’s Go style remake, some others do not share the same feeling.

Although the reception seems to be divided (there were several other tweets that are not suitable for publication), some fans are having fun recognizing the Pokémon Company’s (perhaps intentional) choice of words. After adding Pokémon Platinum, generation 4 had a good amount of content that improved in two games already loved. For fans of the original generation 4 games, seeing leaks of all content cut from Pokémon: Come on, Pikachu! and come on, Eevee! it is more than enough to make them think.

The Pokémon Company is well aware of the launch of new Pokémon games to celebrate your birthday, with Pokémon Sun / Moon being announced at Pokémon Day 2016 to celebrate the franchise’s 20th anniversary. All of this is to say, one Pokémon Diamond / Pearl The remake being announced later this week is highly expected, so while some fans are excited to see them all but confirmed, others are concerned that they may be more casual, Come on style games. Pokémon Day 2021 will be on February 27th, so by the end of this week, players will know for sure whether their hopes have been dashed or fulfilled.
