Pete Davidson breaks the silence with Cazzie David’s essay on their agonized separation

Pete Davidson broke the silence with the new biography of his ex-girlfriend Cazzie David, No One Asked for This, which included an essay on the 2018 separation.

Despite the best-selling author, 26, revealing how agonized she was after the 27-year-old SNL star ended her two-year relationship by text, they managed to become friendly friends.

‘I am very happy for her. It went well and, you know, we’re fine. I wish her nothing but the best, ‘the actor told Insider of David’s new book. ‘I think she wrote a really funny book and I hope it stays on the chart.’

David’s collection of essays debuted at number two on The New York Times list of best-selling nonfiction books on December 6.

Larry David’s eldest daughter, who is the creator and star of the critically acclaimed web series, Eighty-Sixed, previously revealed that she showed her old passion the essay on him, titled Erase Me, before it was published.

“It was a really pivotal moment in my life,” she told The Los Angeles Times about their separation. ‘And writing about it caused me a lot of anxiety, especially as I talk a lot about hating the attention it brought me.’

She continued, ‘Why would I draw more attention to myself by writing about it? But there is nothing worse than what I have experienced with this. ‘

In Erase Me, David talked about their breakup and about seeing him move on with his ex-fiancee Ariana Grande, who is now engaged to luxury real estate broker Dalton Gomez.

At first, David admitted that she was afraid to break up with the comedian because ‘previously, threats of self-harm and suicide arose out of trivial circumstances’.

But, Pete ended up breaking up with her about the text, before proceeding with Great a few weeks after the separation and covering all of her tattoos dedicated to her.

The Air Mail columnist ‘trembled uncontrollably’ and ‘screamed in agony’ before her famous 73-year-old father reminded her: ‘Come on, your ancestors survived the holocaust!’

David couldn’t stop imagining Davidson and the baby voice of the 27-year-old Grammy winner whispering sweet words in his ear, voiced because of his previous declarations of love and trust to me. ‘

Star producer of King of Staten Island ended up breaking up with Ariana in October 2018, four months after getting engaged and five months after starting their turbulent romance.

Cazzie and Davidson are now friends and she even thanked her thanks in her book: ‘Pete. I love you … Your bravery inspires me and your friendship means a lot to me. ‘

In February, the comedian told Charlamagne Tha God: ‘[Cazzie] it’s hilarious f *** ing. She’s another of the funniest people I’ve ever met. She will have a show in a few years, for sure.

The former Emerson College student is currently writing a script for HBO Max after Amazon Studios abandoned its Half-Empty pilot last year.
